Guyana Traditional 9 Day Masala Halwa


low heat 1/2 cup flour cook for 10 minw
take off heat and allow to cool 
add 
sugar
tumeric
black pepper
evaporate milk 
whole milk 

halwa masala (cumin, black cumin, Fennel, Ginger, Black pepper, mora, havclay, cinnamon)
water
grated ginger
1 tablespoon ghee

add milk mixture



Ingredients and Measurements:

1/2 cup all purpose flour

1/4-1/3 cup granulated sugar (depending on how sweet you want it)

1 tbsp. freshly grated ginger

1 tbsp. halwa masala (can be found at most West Indian grocery stores)

2 tbsp. water (to mix with the masala)

2 tbsp. ghee

1 can (12 oz.) of evaporated milk
